Reeling in Memories: The Success of Our All-Girls Fishing Trip

This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable all-girls fishing trip off the coast of North Carolina. For those who’ve been following along with East Coast Saltwater Living, you know that this is more than just a day on the water—it’s about building connections, creating memories, and celebrating the amazing women in our community who share a passion for the sea.

Our crew set sail aboard the Ramblin’ Man, a 55’ custom Carolina sportfisher, and let me tell you—it didn’t take long for us to hit the water running. The weather was perfect, the fish were biting, and the energy was contagious. There was something truly special about watching these women come together, each bringing their own unique vibe to the trip while bonding over the shared excitement of the sport.

We battled through the blaring sun, stayed cool with some Chilly Water, and made sure we were all protected with the essential sun shirts. The camaraderie was palpable, and as the reels screamed, it was clear that this wasn’t just about catching fish—it was about empowering each other and building a community of like-minded women who want to break barriers in the world of sportfishing.
