There's a special kind of thrill that comes from being asked to participate in something as exciting as a photoshoot, and when it's for Reel Girl Clothing Company, you know it's going to be an adventure to remember! When I got the invitation to join the shoot at the picturesque Sea Path Marina in Wilmington, NC, I was over the moon. The setting? The stunning sportfisher "Horse." It sounded like a scene straight out of a summer dream, and I couldn't wait to dive in (metaphorically, of course!).

Of course I was apprehensive! I am always on the back side of the camera and never the focal point. Like most of us, I do not like my face and I do not like my smile. I feel like it's all teeth and no lips! As is customary, I contacted all my closet friends, secretly hoping they would talk me out of it but sadly they didn't and I am so grateful for that. It was a great experience! Sharon, the driving force behind the Reel Girl Clothing Co. brand was such a pleasure as well as everyone else on set. We laughed and truly enjoyed each others company, it felt like I knew these women all my life.

One of the things I love about Reel Girl Clothing Company is how there is a blend of fashion with functionality and I can't wait for world to see the new zip up jackets. These jackets have built in thumb holes and gloves! From experience I know I love the built in thumb holes because they provide a layer of warmth over your hands when your out on the water but adding a built in glove! That is next level and I actually can't wait for it get a little cooler so I can show off the new gear and its functionality.
